Since moving to Denby Institute & Recreation Ground in 2025/26, the club has taken on looking after the pitch itself.
The 2025/26 move gave Codnor Athletic the chance to establish a lasting base, and to take responsibility for maintaining and developing the playing surface.
The club has secured Football Foundation support for equipment and maintenance work, and continues to improve the ground and its facilities. Renovation of the changing rooms is under way; showers are currently unavailable.
The club’s groundsmen mark the pitch and maintain the surface between matches.
